Can I edit a Shopify order after the customer has already paid?
Yes — that is exactly what PostSwap is built for. Once installed, you can edit the shipping address, swap products or update quantities on any paid Shopify order directly from your admin. No cancellation or refund required. The customer's payment is not affected.
Does PostSwap work with all Shopify plans?
Yes. PostSwap works on every Shopify plan including Basic, Shopify, Advanced and Plus. There are no plan restrictions. Enterprise and Plus merchants can additionally use the bulk edit features in the Pro tier.
What happens to the order timeline when I make changes?
Every edit is logged in the order notes with a timestamp and the name of the user who made the change. The original order confirmation email is not resent unless you choose to notify the customer. PostSwap can send a customisable update notification to the customer on each change.
